Some of the Konig original cylinder heads that I am going to use
with the old engine. The
problem with the heads is the sealing between them and the barrels.
The sealing area is very small and does not leave a lot of room to
machine and fit o ring grooves. I am still deliberating which way i
am going to seal them so i can keep the water in the cooling system
and stop any leaks between the combustion chambers and water jacket.
NEW CYLINDER heads
have been cast and machined ready to be used with the new engine. We
can alter the combustion chamber shape and the squish angles of the
new engines but this will be done after we have the new engine up
and running and reliable
Modified cylinder heads which have a separate combustion
chamber which means if you have any detonation problems you can
just change the chamber and not the complete head.
